For me, during a HUGE shift in my life at 51, I purchased a pink tutu. Crazy, yes. AND it helped. It kept me from getting too serious. Years before that, I purchased a felt wand with wild strands like hair. It reminded me I had magic. Remember what Glinda said, you've always had the power, just close your eyes, click your heels, and make it happen.
or maybe this is the year you start wearing red - like LOTS of red - or buy red cowboy boots or a red coat. Great color for the new year, since this is not only the year of the horse, it is the year of the FIRE horse! (my birth year ;)
Well except traditionally girls born in a fire horse year were drowned in China. While not true in the states, women having determination firey passion isn’t always embraced- but I’m pretty happy at this point with how I’ve managed it. Being a Pisces helps with balance 😉
(I meet more & more people on sabbatical, including a longtime friend in town right now. I used to call it a 'hiatus' when I'd take 1-2 months off and travel during my corporate years. ah, wording, time. always, worth it. what am I am now? at this point, revamping, myself....)
